A WINSFORD schoolgirl is enjoying her moment in the spotlight after becoming the star of a new advert for housebuilders, Redrow.
Issy Duckworth, aged five, gives a child’s eye view of a Redrow home in its latest marketing campaign, which is currently airing on the company’s website and broadband TV channel. It’s also playing at shopping centres including on the big screen in the food hall at the Trafford Centre.
Proud mum Kerry said: “Issy was one of a number of children of different ages screen tested by Redrow and was over the moon when they chose her to appear in the film. They said she had just the right amount of ‘cute factor’ and was a natural in front of the camera.
“Issy’s confident anyway but I think she’s even more confident in front of the camera – she’s a little superstar and a diva in the making.”
The advert has also proved popular amongst Issy’s classmates at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, in Winsford, where she has become an overnight star.
Kerry added: “Her friends absolutely love it and some have asked for her autograph because they think she’s famous.”
