WINSFORD youngsters charmed a crowded audience at the annual Winsford Town Carol Service last Tuesday, December 14.
The Reverend Tim Hanson welcomed Town Mayor Clr Malcolm Gaskill and civic guests to Christ Church Wharton, who were treated to performances from the town’s best young talent.
Choirs from Wharton CE Primary School, Overhall Community Primary School and the Winsford E-ACT Academy all gave carol performances, and soloists Sam Lyon and Paige Phillips sang their own Christmas songs on the night.
Readings included one from Winsford Junior Mayor Chloe Davies.
A collection in support of the Town Mayor’s charity, the Salvation Army, raised £108.
