Michael Roberts, accused of strangling his newly wed wife to death, will stand trial this Thursday.
Roberts, a former employee of the Phones 4U store in Winsford, is charged with the murder of his wife, Victoria Roberts, in Runcorn in December 2009.
The 26-year-old will stand trial at Liverpool Crown Court and is expected to last three to four weeks.
