STUDENT Emily Timmis is head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to shoulder massaging.

The South Cheshire College student has been taught the powers of healing hands by her grandmother who is a full time reflexologist.

Emily has been practicing shoulder massaging as a hobby for the past nine years but it is also helping her on her Entry Level programme in Hair, Beauty and Holistic Therapies.

She has all the techniques up her sleeve to help people relax and uses the power of her healing hands to work down the shoulder blades in a circular motion.

Emily, 16, of Crewe, said: “I love my course at college but because I do it as a hobby as well it really helps.”

Entry Level programmes are for students with learning difficulties or disabilities and give them the opportunity to learn life skills through fun activities.

Tutor Jonathan White said: “Emily certainly seems to have magic hands. She loves massaging and it really helps her with her college course.”
