A MIDDLEWICH IT company has been awarded the Best Small Business Award 2009 by South Cheshire Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Amita Ltd, located on Verity Court, offers IT support and development to businesses nationwide and have previously won an award for ‘Start up business of the year’ from the Vale Royal business awards.
Amita’s managing director, Darren Astles, was unable to pick up the award as he was on a weekend break with his son, Declan, who has recently returned from a tour of duty in Afghanistan.
His wife Amanda received the award on his behalf.
Darren said: “This really puts the icing on the cake, as it has been a very productive and rewarding year for our growing company. Amita has substantially increased its customer base of IT support customers and continues to expand despite the recent economic climate.”
