RESIDENTS in Rudheath are being called on to help bring the community together by organising a fun day.

PCSO Angela Richardson and PC Holly Campbell of the Rudheath Neighbourhood Policing Team are appealing to the community to organise a fun day for summer 2010.

PCSO Richardson said: “The idea of the fun day is to bring the community together to focus on having fun together.

“We would like to hear from the residents to find out what they want at the community fun day. Any willing volunteers who want to join an organising committee will be more than welcome.

“Neighbourhood Policing is all about working with the community so if we can get residents working together and with us, we will hopefully build on the good relationship between the police and the community.”

The exact date of the community day has not been set, but anyone who is willing to volunteer or who has ideas for what should be included on the day can contact PC Holly Campbell or PCSO Angela Richardson on 0845 458 6392 or email holly.campbell@cheshire.pnn.police.uk or angela.richardson@chehsire.pnn.police.uk.
