MOULTON’S village design statement has been accepted into official council policy.
At a meeting of Cheshire West and Chester Council, the Local Development Framework Panel agreed to adopt the Moulton Village Design Statement.
It will now become a key corporate document and be used to help the council decide .
Volunteers in Moulton joined forced with the Cheshire Landscape Trust to create the document which gives the council a clear idea of the character and size of the village.
It sets out the nature of the landscape and features which make the village distinctive; and includes guidelines on how to encourage new development that compliments what is already there.
