Paul Grannell and playing partner Gareth Jones shared ninth spot at the SkyCaddie PGA Fourball Championship.
A NORTHWICH duo finished in the top ten at the SkyCaddie PGA Fourball Championship last week.
Gareth Jones (Sandiway GC) and Paul Grannell (Vale Royal Abbey GC) earned a share of ninth position following the 54-holes competition at Lincolnshire’s Forest Pines Golf and Country Club.
There they shot rounds of 68, 65, and 66.
Dublin-based PGA assistants Stuart Taylor and Pat Devine performed like professionals to win the £5,000 first prize, their 31-under-par bogey-free total of 188 setting a new record for the £30,000 tournament.
