A WOMAN has been quizzed by police after a nine-year-old boy was allegedly assaulted at Tatton Park.
Officers have launched an investigation after receiving a report of the alleged attack at 3.45pm on Saturday, March 30.
The incident is believed to have occurred at the play park within Tatton Park.
Police attended and located all parties and, following initial inquiries, a woman was interviewed under caution.
The investigation to establish the full circumstances of what happened is ongoing and officers are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
PC John Millman said: “The park was very busy that day with lots of visitors.
"I’m very keen to hear from anyone who was there that day in the play park around 3.45pm and saw any incident between a boy and a female."
