AN EASTER fundraiser is taking place on Saturday to raise funds for children’s homes and children’s charities.
St Helens Hockey Club is hosting the friendly in-club tournament, but instead of paying to play, the members will be donating one or more Easter eggs to be donated to Abbeyford, Inspire, Derian House and Marydale.
The aim is to provide those children less fortunate this Easter something to smile about and enjoy.
As a small sports club within the town, the club is keen to support and give back to the town in any way possible.
They have a wide range of ages (12-65+) and a wide range of abilities and train at Sutton Leisure on a Tuesday evening 8-9pm. Which is open to anyone looking to try something new.
The fundraiser will take place from 11.30am on Saturday, March 30.
