A LORRY overturned during a crash in Northwich.
Emergency services had to rescue one person had to be rescued from their vehicle after a crash involving two heavy goods vehicles.
The crash, on Middlewich Road, occurred at around 10.46am this morning (March 21) and saw one of the vehicles overturn.
Firefighters had to remove the windscreen to free the occupant of the vehicle who has since been taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "A road traffic collision involving two heavy goods vehicles caused one to overturn.
"One casualty had to be rescued by firefighters.
"They removed the windscreen to safely free the casualty, who was assessed by paramedics on scene and then taken to hospital.
"Firefighters made the vehicles safe and cordoned off the area to await a specialist recovery."
