PARAMEDICS checked over drivers after a two-car crash along a main road.

A large emergency service presence was called to Swanlow Lane on Sunday (March 3) following reports of a crash.

Police arrived in Darnhall at around 9am to find a silver Audi A3 and a blue Renault Clio had collided, with officers shutting off the road as a result.

A spokesperson for the force said: “At 9am on Sunday (March 3) police were called to a collision on Swanlow Lane, Darnhall.

“Officers attended and found there had been a collision between a silver Audi A3 and a blue Renault Clio.

“There were no reports of any serious injuries and no arrests were made.

“The road reopened at around 11.30am.”

North West Ambulance Service and one Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service engine from the Winsford station also attended the incident.

“Firefighters attended a road traffic collision involving two cars,” said a CFRS spokesperson.

“Fire crews were in attendance for around an hour making the scene safe.

“Casualties were assessed by paramedics.”
