POKEMON will once again be taking over Northwich.
One of the most popular events of 2023, the Pokémon Hunt, is back and promises to be bigger and better than ever.
Toppers of Northwich have been busy creating dozens of the popular video game monsters, with 50 to 'catch' around the town.
Founder of the group, Katie Naylor, said: “We are really excited for this year's Pokémon Hunt.
“There are some very special Pokémon this year, can't give away secrets, so everyone will have to wait until the hunt starts but they won't be disappointed!”
The Pokémon Hunt gets underway on Friday (March 29) and will run for six weeks.
It is split into two parts, the mini hunt and the big hunt.

The family-friendly mini-hunt will see 30 Pokémon placed around for town centres, hiding in shop windows and on top of post boxes.
All children who complete this will receive a handmade Pokéball as a prize, with the Toppers well-prepared having made 1,000 so far.
There will also be the chance to win a special ball celebrating Northwich Comic Con, with two extra Pokémon being hidden at the event on April 20 at Memorial Court.
Katie added: “It's been a massive group effort to produce them all.
“We even have a toppers member in America who has been making them and posting them to us. That's dedication for you!”
The second part, the big hunt, will involve a further 20 Pokémon hidden in surrounding villages and tourist attractions, with the rarest Pokémon kept in the 'rarest locations'.
To 'catch' a Pokémon all you need to do is take a selfie with it.
If you get stuck, you can visit Board Beans, Goblin Games, Vinnie’s or Wild Tots in the town centre who will be able to offer some advice.
There will also be hints and clues shared on the ‘Great Northwich Pokémon Hunt Part 2’ Facebook page.
Anyone who catches all 50 will be entered into a prize draw, with five winners picked out of a hat on May 10.
There is also a raffle to help support the work of Toppers of Northwich, with every £1 donated to their Just Giving page receiving one entry.
