A POPULAR venue in Cheshire is launching an Outdoor Concert Series.

Besides being famous for its history and award-winning gardens, Arley Hall is well known for welcoming film crews into its grounds.

It has featured in a number of TV shows – including Netflix hits Peaky Blinders and Fool Me Once.

Now, it is hosting Live At Arley – Outdoor Concert Series.

And some much-loved names have already been confirmed to appear.

First of all, the Chicago Blues Brothers will be heading to Arley Hall, offering a night of spectacular live music and delivering their full theatre production direct from London’s West End.

Attendees will be able to embark on a thrilling musical journey alongside the incomparable Jake and Elwood, the sweet soul sisters, and the phenomenal CBB Band.

It’s a ‘turbocharged, heart-pounding musical extravaganza’ that showcases all the beloved Blues Brothers classic hits, with plenty of surprises thrown in for good measure, delivered with an irresistible, electrifying energy that is impossible to resist.

They will perform on May 18.

A day later on May 19, Proms with Russell Watson will take place.

The Salford-born singer will take centre stage for a fabulous open-air concert in the grounds of Arley Hall.

Crowned the UK’s best-selling classical artist of all time, his record-breaking debut solo album The Voice reached the number one chart spot – a position it held for a world record 52 weeks, catapulting the singer into the international spotlight.

He will be joined at Arley Hall by his band and Orchestral Ensemble to perform a specially curated set full of Proms classics, including stirring anthems like Jerusalem and Rule Britannia, and Puccini’s aria Nessun Dorma.
