TICKETS are still available for the 29th edition of an annual drinks and music festival which raises funds for charities.

The Beer, Drinks & Music Festival, organised by the four clubs which comprise Rotary in Northwich, returns next month.

Held in the Brio Leisure Centre at the Memorial Court, guests will find a wide variety of tipples on offer to wet their whistle.

These include a selection of 35 cask beers and 12 ciders, alongside a 12-variety gin bar which has a selection of wines and Prosecco. There will also be a 'Driver's Bar' serving non-alcoholic drinks.

Martin Waterfall, Rotary Beer Festival chairman, said: "Rotary in Northwich would like to thank the many companies, businesses and individuals who have supported our Rotary Beer Festival again this year by either placing an advertisement in the Beer Festival programme or by sponsoring a barrel of beer, or a bottle of gin or Prosecco and you the public for attending and making the event what is.

"Cheers."

As well as the drinks, the festival, which takes place on September 15 and 16, will be complimented by live music performances.

Then on Saturday there will be a DJ, plus Indie-cisive, a Cheshire five-piece band who perform Indie classics old and new from the likes of Oasis, Stone Roses, Blur, Kasabian, The Fratellis and more.

As in past years, there will be three sessions, which are 6pm to 11pm on Friday, 12pm to 4pm Saturday and then from 6pm to 11pm on Saturday evening.

Tickets are still on sale at northwichbeerfestival.co.uk or from retail ticket outlets at Brio Leisure Centre, CRS Insurance Brokers, Wildwood and Kismet Hartford.

The ticket prices are £10 for Friday night, £7.50 for Saturday lunchtime and £10 for Saturday evening.

Food will also be available at all sessions courtesy of Brio Leisure Centre.

Once again, this year all proceeds will be going to Rotary charities.
