DESPITE the hot weather we usually get in during the summer, Northwich will be seeing some ice and snow as an adaptation of Frozen comes to town.

This July, Salt & Pepper Productions Youth Company will be putting on performances of 'Frozen Jr.', based on the stage musical version of the 2013 hit Disney film, at the Grange Theatre in Hartford.

The show will look to bring popular characters Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life on stage, and will feature the memorable songs from the film, as well as five new songs written for the Broadway (2018) and West End (2021) productions.

Already a core aspect of the film and stage productions, Salt & Pepper say its production of 'Frozen Jr.' will 'expand upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa'.

There will be three performances of the musical at the Grange Theatre, taking place on July 28 at 6pm, and July 29 at 2pm and 6pm.

Posting on its website, Salt & Pepper Productions, which was established in 2015 said: "Our mission was to bring a little theatrical spice 'Pepper' to Northwich 'Salt' whilst raising money for a charity close to our hearts.

"In 2021 we decided to re-ignite the company and produce another show; the award-winning Calendar Girls the Musical.

"Due to the success of these shows, many people asked if we had a youth section, so here we are!

"In 2022 we branched out to form our Youth Theatre Company, who most recently produced a stunning performance of Matilda Jr. in four days!

"Salt & Pepper is overjoyed to open up our youth performances to the general public as we felt it was time to let our students' talents shine beyond family and friends."
