A NEW delicatessen is all set to open its doors to the public for the first time this weekend.

Kings Delicatessen is the latest offering from foodie couple Molly Wilson and Daniel Turner, the brains behind the posh cheese hamper ‘takeaway’ and catering business, King’s Cheese and Wine.

Their new shop is opening in Witton Street on Saturday, June 10, at 9am, selling a host of local craft and artisan foods, including cheeses, fresh bread, chutneys, jam, biscuits, spices, dairy products, and yummy treats.

Revealing the shop’s new signage on social media, Molly and Daniel said: “We would like to say a massive thank you to the great businesses that have helped us and worked above and beyond with the sign, stock, and all the little extras that you have done to help us be ready for the opening.

Northwich Guardian:

“We can’t wait to have your amazing products on our shelves.

“Times like this really show how great it is when businesses support each other; it’s so important that we do.

“So again, a massive thank you to you all and we can’t wait to open the doors on Saturday!

“Please do come and say hello.”

Molly, who moved to Northwich five years ago from Wirral, previously told the Guardian: “We’ve decided to focus our efforts on a shop; we want Kings Delicatessen to be a lovely destination that people really look forward to visiting, and where they can get all sorts of top-quality local food and drink.

“Effectively, it’s going to be like a mini-farm shop, but in the town centre.

"That’s how we want it to look and feel.”
