CLASSIC car enthusiasts are gearing up for the arrival of thousands of unique and pristine automobiles heading to Cheshire next month.

Over the weekend of June 3/4, the Classic and Performance Car Spectacular - one of Britain's most popular classic car shows - will be returning to Tatton Park.

On display will be a wide variety of classic car, ranging from a 1923 Morris Cowley right up to modern day supercars such as Aston Martins, Ferraris and Dodge Challenger Hellcats.

Car clubs will also be putting on unique displays of their own, including one with a huge range of Corvettes to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Corvette Stingray.

Those not content to just look at the cars should head over to the Sporting Bears Motor Club, which will be offering guests the chance to go for a ride in the car of their dreams.

Guests can also pick up a bargain at a vast Autojumble, where they can find everything from parts and spares to accessories, memorabilia and collectables.

As well as the incredible display of cars, the Classic and Performance Car Spectacular has a great line up of entertainment over the weekend including a children’s funfair, live music and some delicious food and drink stalls, not forgetting the beer tent.

Andy Kitchen, show event planner said: "If you love cars like we do, it’s a great opportunity to reminisce about old favorites, or the car your parents drove back in the day, and also admire the high performance and sporty models you wish were on your driveway.

"It’s the perfect event to take a step back in time and celebrate the golden age of motoring with thousands of like-minded enthusiasts."
