NOW spring is here, you might be looking for some seasonal activities to enjoy with your family – and there is plenty coming up at Arley Hall and Gardens this month.

Totally Roarsome

Taking place on April 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10, this is a family-friendly 1.5km trail around a world of dinosaurs, wild animals, pirates, unicorns and more.

Arley Hall is open

On April 15, 16 and 17, the hall will be open from 10am until 5pm.

Adult tickets cost £6, child tickets (four to 16) are £2, and a family ticket (two adults and up to three children) is £15.

There is no need to book.

Hall entry is only available as an upgrade after paid garden entry.

National Garden Scheme

On April 18, the gardens are open as part of the National Garden Scheme and all admission fees are donated to them. 

Beneficiaries include Macmillan Cancer Support and Marie Curie.

There is no need to book and it is open from 10am until 5pm.

Willow Weaving Workshop

This takes place on April 26.     

Juliette is a willow sculptor based in south Manchester.

She makes individual pieces to commission, sells at events and is online. 

Guided bluebell walks and garden entry 

Enjoy huge carpets of bluebells in the magnificent Big Wood on April 29 and 30, a private wood not normally open to visitors.
