NORTHWICH Town Council has installed another defibrillator to its existing catalogue of 20 potentially life-saving devices across the town.

The new defibrillator was installed at Castle Private Club on David Street, thanks to funding from Castle Private, Rotary Northwich, Cheshire West and Cheshire Council (CWAC) members budgets and Northwich Town Council.

Councillors Bob Cernik and Kate Cernik said they were ‘very pleased’ to be adding to the ‘peace of mind and wellbeing’ of residents.

Northwich Town Council is working with local charities, organisations, CWAC councillors and the Northwest Ambulance Service to create a ‘robust network’ of defibrillators in the town that may help save lives.
