MORE than 500 runners will be tackling the Cheshire Cross Country Championships on Sunday.
Among them will be many from the likes of Vale Royal Athletics Club, Cheshire Dragons, and Wilmslow Running Club.
This year's event takes place at Knight's Grange in Winsford, home of Vale Royal Athletics Club, with the first race starting at 11am.
There are male and female races for under 11s, 13s, 15s, 17s and 20s age groups, as well as senior and veteran men and women.
Last year's women's race winner Abigail Howarth from Vale Royal will be defending her title, though the 2022 men's winner Ed Shepherd is not listed among the entrants.
