EXCITEMENT is mounting as it's not long to go now before Bonfire Night.
Here are details of fireworks displays in and around Northwich, Middlewich and Knutsford.
Families are encouraged to have fun safely events on Saturday, November 5.
Cheshire firefighters recommend going to an organised bonfire and fireworks display as it is much safer.
Northwich Firefest
This event at Verdin Park is organised by Northwich Rotary Club and Northwich Round Table.
As well as a huge bonfire and pyrotechnic delights, there will also be a funfair and wide variety of food and drink available.
Gates open at 5.30pm. The bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm and the firework display starts at 7.30pm.
Drivers are encouraged to use the official car parks in and around the town centre.
Tickets are £10 adults aged over 16 and £5 children.

Blakemere
Blakemere Village is hosting a firework display with professional company Ignite Pyrotechnics Ltd.
Food and drink and a family fairground will be available.
Gates open at 5.15pm and the firework display starts at 7pm.
Middlewich Cricket Club
Middlewich Cricket Club promises a ‘spectacular’ bonfire and fireworks display at Haddon Field on Croxton Lane.
A selection of food and drinks vendors will be on site and rides will be available for children.
An external bar will also be serving drinks to adults.
The club has taken on board feedback from previous events and increased floodlighting, toilet and security provisions, as well as maintaining a first aid facility.
Personal fireworks and alcoholic drinks will not be allowed to be brought into the club.
Gates open at 6pm and the bonfire will be lit at 7.30pm.
The firework display begins at 8pm.
Wilmslow
Wilmslow Round Table’s annual bonfire and firework display on Carnival Fields will have a Disney theme.
A magical atmosphere will be created as fireworks will be synchronised to well-known tunes.
The fun-filled family event will have lots of new attractions including live performances on a new entertainment stage and food pop-ups.
A local rock choir will perform followed by local singer Jess Scaggs and CHYPS Panto Group.
Frankly Fox, a children’s book character, will also be on stage.
Pains Fireworks will be co-ordinating the display.
Gates open at 5pm and the bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm.
A children’s firework display starts at 7pm and the main firework display will begin at 7.30pm.
The event is run by Wilmslow Round and Wilmslow Ladies Circle with help from local community groups.
This year’s event is supported by Wilmslow Town Council and local businesses.
