A 32-YEAR-OLD man from Winsford has been charged on suspicion of burgling a primary school in the town.
Kallum Scott was arrested yesterday, August 12, after a burglary at Willow Wood Primary School on Bradbury Road, reported at around 3.40am the same day.
Scott, of Ribble Way, Winsford, has since been charged on suspicion of burglary other than a dwelling.
A caller reported that someone had broken into the school and stolen a number of items.
Officers were dispatched to the scene and following a search of the area, Scott was arrested in the Nun House Drive area.
A number of items were also recovered, including iPads.
Scott has been released on conditional bail and is set to appear at Crewe Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, September 1.
