FITNESS is a way of life for many people with so many sports, activities and classes available to keep our energy levels up and our minds and bodies healthy.

With Zumba classes, HIIT sessions and kick boxing as well as yoga, pilates and spin on offer, fitness fanatics are spoilt for choice.

But which of the area’s top gyms provides the best service?

Where do you go for a workout?

Northwich Guardian:

Our search to find the area's Best for Fitness 2022 – which was won by Sharon Power at Power Fitness – had an overwhelming response so we have decided to launch a separate bid to find the area’s Best Gym.

In our Best of 2022 campaign, we’ve given out 15 awards so far in Mid Cheshire for hair, nails, beauty, children, fitness, pubs, beer gardens, and independent shop as well as pies, fish and chips, breakfast, afternoon tea, roast dinner, pizza and burger.

Lissie Wright Hair, The Beauty Spot, Weaver Hall Museum and Lion Salt Works, Sharon Power Fitness, The Lion, The Carriers Inn and The Style Hut together with JD’s Cafe, Winsford Fryer, Oakwood Marina, Poppy Rose Vintage Tearooms, Hartford Hall, Oakwood Smoke and Dough, and Newton's Nosh Catering have all been crowned winners in their respective categories.

Voting is currently taking place to find the area’s best cafe with the closing date midnight on Monday, August 15.

Sharon Power from Power Fitness took the Fitness Instructor of the Year Crown in May and now we need your help to find the town’s perfect place for a workout.

Who will win Northwich’s Best Gym 2022?

Tell us which of the town’s gyms should make our shortlist and then the overall winner will be decided by you, our readers.

Which is your favourite place for a workout?

Northwich Guardian:

HOW IT WORKS:

Each Friday morning we will reveal new categories via our social media pages and ask you who is the best. Nominations close each Monday morning at 12pm.

Then each Thursday we will publish a shortlist of finalists with voting officially opening.

You will be able to vote in one of three ways:

- By commenting under the relevant post on our Knutsford Guardian, Northwich Guardian and Winsford and Middlewich Guardian Facebook pages = 1 vote

- By entering via the online article on our Knutsford Guardian, Northwich Guardian and Winsford and Middlewich Guardian websites = 2 votes

- By entering via our Knutsford Guardian, Northwich Guardian and Winsford and Middlewich Guardian newspapers = 5 votes

The following Wednesday evening we will announce the winner of that category on social media.

They will then be entered into the running for our overall Simply The Best award at the end of the competition.

Usual Newsquest competition rules apply.
