PUPILS and staff at a Winsford primary school are keeping the memory of an 'inspirational' mum alive.
Chloe Richardson, a carer from the town, sadly died from cystic fibrosis in 2017 at the age of just 26.
Since then Darnhall Primary School have been fundraising annually for The Cystic Fibrosis Trust in her memory.
And last Friday (June 17), the children and staff wore yellow and sold ice pops to help support the charity.
Last year, Chloe's son Jake, in year five, and his friend Brian Clarke, in year six, ran an Uber ice pop delivery service and they continued to run the service again this year.
Headteacher Sarah Tomlinson said the charity has been at the heart of the school community following the loss of Chloe and each year they work to raise money and awareness of cystic fibrosis.
She added: "The children have raised a staggering £480.47 for The Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
"In doing so, they remembered Chloe Richardson, one of our inspiration lovely mummies, and supported some of our own young Cystic Fibrosis warriors in the community.
"We are so proud of all the children at Darnhall and we thank our families for their generous donations."
