ICE cream and inflatables were the order of the day as primary schoolchildren celebrated the end of their exams.
The fun-filled afternoon took place at Grange Community Nursery and Primary School last week as the year six class completed the Key Stage 2 SATs.
The school put on the treat for the children as reward for their hard work and dedication to the tests, which have returned for the first time since the pandemic began.
And as their final primary school year comes to a close, the children are now looking forward a residential trip to London and putting on their own performance of The Lion King.
Harriet McGilloway, head of hchool, said: "We are so incredibly proud of our year six children.
"Each of them has shown remarkable determination and resilience throughout the testing period, and now deserve to celebrate with a series of well-earned treats."
