A DRAMA school in Winsford is giving away a month of free classes as part of its aim to encourage all children to follow their dreams.

Amelia Wray, who has starred in Emmerdale, has been running Winsford School of Drama for the past nine years, and is also a mental health coach and delivers drama workshops in schools across Cheshire.

She is now offering an aspiring actor the chance to benefit from a month of free classes.

“This spring term we are giving away one month of free drama classes to a budding young actor,” Amelia said.

“We welcome all children ages five to 17 with an interest in theatre and performance.

“The competition is open to current and new students.”

Some of the recent successes staff and children have had include director Richard Oliver filming for Coronation Street, working on a music video and having a leading role in a play at Liverpool Everyman Theatre.

The school’s youngest student who is just five years old has also enjoyed an audition for Disney's Disenchanted.

Amelia added: “Many previous students have bagged drama school places such as Guildhall School of Music and Drama and have gone on to work in the industry.

“We pride ourselves on our supportive nature - we are like a big theatre family.

“At Winsford School of Drama we are passionate about inclusivity. No child should feel they don't fit in or can't have big dreams!"
