PRIMARY school pupils in Winsford took inspiration from a beloved children's tale for a day of fun and learning.
Darnhall Primary School put on a 'Winnie the Pooh Day', letting children be creative, learn facts about bears and test their reading skills.
A representative for the school said: "This week for ‘Winnie the Pooh Day’ the Dragonfly and Butterfly classes have been getting very creative.
"The children have painted Winnie the Pooh character masks which were made into headdresses.
Febe Ruiz
"The children loved wearing these while meeting the adorable, honey-loving bear, who told us some funny bear jokes - ‘What do you call a bear with no teeth? A gummy bear!’
Bella-Rose Holtom
"Winnie the Pooh also told us some interesting and fascinating facts about bears.
"We then enjoyed reading the story ‘Winnie the Pooh saves the bees'."
