AN investigation has been launched after rubbish was dumped in a country lane Middlewich.
Cheshire Police Rural Crime Team is working with enforcement officers from Cheshire East Council after discovering fly-tipping in Warmingham Lane.
It is thought the rubbish was dumped in the area between Sunday night (January 30) and Monday morning.
PCSO Kim Bowyer posted images of the rubbish on Facebook and called for people to be more responsible when disposing of their waste.

She said: "As a team were really keen to support the work of our partners from the various Local Authorities who are out investigating Waste Crime.
"Today, I'm supporting Cheshire East Community Enforcement Officers in Warmingham Lane, Middlewich, as we look for evidence of who is responsible for this.
"If you're not willing to pay a legitimate waste carrier to dispose of your waste, it will end up like this.
"Don't let that happen because we will hold you responsible too for not easily checking the permits of your chosen company.
"Did you see who dumped this waste here, do you recognise where its come from?
"Please help keep the countryside and its wildlife safe from this kind if crime."
