DRUGS and knives have been seized from a property in Winsford after a raid by police this morning, Thursday.

Winsford Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out a warrant on the property in Esk Road where they made the discovery.

Two occupants were interviewed under caution and made a full admission to possession of the drugs.

Police added: "While at the address, officers located some folding lock knives in the bedroom, which were surrendered with the agreement of the occupants, and will be sent for destruction.

"If you have any information regarding crimes that are being committed in your neighbourhood, please call 101 (999 in an emergency), use the online reporting tool on the Cheshire Police website, speak to your local BEAT manager/PCSO, or report anonymously via Crimestoppers."
