More than 3,200 new Covid-19 cases have been reported in Cheshire West and Cheshire East over the last seven days.
According to figures released by Public Health England, the total of 3,230 is made up of 1,739 in Cheshire West and 1,491 in Cheshire East.
This means the seven-day case rate in each borough now stands at 505.8 in Cheshire West and 385.6 in Cheshire East.
In the latest 24-hour period, between 4pm on Wednesday, December 1, and 4pm today, there were 315 new cases in Cheshire West.
During the same period, 297 people tested positive in Cheshire East.
Nationally, 53,945 people tested positive for coronavirus.
