The latest Covid-19 cases rates for mid-Cheshire have been released.
Across Cheshire East and Cheshire West, a total of 450 new cases were reported in the latest 24-hour period.
This includes 191 in Cheshire East and 259 in Cheshire West, taking the respective boroughs' totals since the pandemic began to 56,564 and 53,128.
The latest update means there have now been 1,781 cases in the last seven days in Cheshire West, giving the borough a seven-day case rate of 518 per 100,000 people.
There have been 1,619 cases in Cheshire East over the last week, meaning the borough’s seven-day case rate is now 418.7 per 100,000.
Nationally there were 50,091 new Covid-19 cases across the UK in the latest 24-hour period.
