She was reported missing on November 24, with police believing she left the town's train station on November 18 between 5.30pm-6.30pm, possibly heading to Liverpool.

Her sister Sophie, said the family are all 'worried sick' about Caitlin and are desperate for her to get in touch so they know she is ok.

She said: "Our step mum Leone and our dad Alwyn would like to say how much they love her and want her home safe.

"We are worried sick and here wee son needs her.

"Our brother Stuart has said we are worried, we love you, we don’t want anything to happen to you, please come home."

Sophie went on to make a direct emotional plea herself, saying: "Caitlin, we all love you and know you're struggling.

"Please get in touch.

"We miss you and I’m worried sick.

"I've not slept and I've done nothing but cry hoping you're ok.

"Please, your family love and need you, and so does your son, little Harley.

Meanwhile, Caitlin's friend Thomas Taylor has also begged her to come home, saying: "Come home please, we're all so worried about you.

"Even if it's a phone call or a text, just so we know that you're safe.

"I love you so much and I'm worried to death, so please get in touch."

Her cousin Declan also asked the teenager to contact the worried family so they can put their minds at rest.
