A MAN has admitted stealing two bottles of alcohol from a popular Northwich night spot.

Charlie Connor Smith, of Lancaster Crescent in Hartford, was in Revival Bar and Club on the town's High Street at around 2.30am on Saturday, November 20.

The 23-year-old then went into an area of the club closed off to customers and helped himself to two bottles of alcohol.

However, as he made attempts to leave, Smith was stopped by members of the club's security staff and the police were called.

Appearing at Chester Magistrates Court on Monday, November 22, Smith pleaded guilty to one count of burglary.

He was remanded on conditional bail and won't be sentenced for the offence until January 10.
