CHILDREN of all ages are able to take part in an interactive Christmas Treasure Trail, thanks to Winsford Town Council.

The Christmas Trail is led interactively by Santa himself and launched on November 19.

The trail will take place in Winsford Town Park in the centre of the town and will be made up of a series of clues and riddles which children will be able to access.

The aim of the puzzle will be to solve the riddles and ultimately solve Santa’s word puzzle, thereby getting a letter of achievement from Santa and a congratulations message.

The trail can be accessed at wonderadventures.co.uk/winsford.

Winsford town mayor cllr Nathan Pardoe said: "We wanted to do something different and special this year after the disappointment of not being able to hold any Christmas celebrations last year.

"The Christmas Treasure Hunt and Trail therefore is being held alongside our usual Christmas lights switch-on on Friday, November 26, and offers a chance for children and families to enjoy themselves and explore our wonderful Town Park

"We very much hope that as many people as possible take part in this, and that everyone has fun finding the clues and solving the puzzles."
