POLICE had an unusual callout on Tuesday (November 23) morning, after a cow was spotted taking a stroll down the M6.
The mischievous bovine managed to escape from a nearby field and took herself go for a walk down the southbound carriageway between junctions 17 and 16.
Luckily for 'Daisy' and motorists on the busy motorway at the time, she was on the safe side of the crash barrier.
Officers from North West Motorway Police were quickly despatched to the scene and the cow was 'moooved' back into the safety of her own field.
A bit of change this morning for our #MS11 on the M6 J17 to J16 Southbound when "Daisy" decided to go for a little walk of her own..
