A LITTLE boy who always wants to help others is challenging himself to walk 100 miles during November for Mid Cheshire Foodbank.

Harry Kelly, seven, is hoping to raise as much money as possible for the foodbank – he's even already smashed his target of £150.

And the kind-hearted youngster from Winsford is no stranger is doing good deeds.

Mum Emma explained: "Harry has committed to walking 100 miles in November to help raise money for Mid Cheshire Foodbank.

"Each year he does what he can to help, getting me to buy bags of shopping to donate, and last year he held a book raffle.

"He's spent his own pocket money on it along with buying food vouchers and handing them out to any homeless people and he always stops for a little chat.

"He has a real passion for it and says when he helps others it makes him feel good.

"He started with his school and he always wanted to try and raise a bit more.

"We have a little dog now and a few weeks ago he said 'can we do something with walking?'."

Emma set up a Crowdfunder page to help Harry get as many donations as possible and within just a few days, Harry reached his £150 target.

"He was really excited when he saw he'd got his target," Emma said.

"So please support a local boy who wants to do something good that will help people in our town.

"If you like to donate to the foodbank, or have wanted to but weren't sure how, then please consider Harry's fundraiser, as all proceeds will go to the Mid Cheshire Foodbank.

Mid Cheshire Foodbank is a project founded by local churches and community groups, entirely run by volunteers who freely give their time to support anyone who experiences food crisis.

It works with referral agencies and other food projects to get people the help they need.

The foodbank is part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
