POLICE have charged a man in connection with a fatal crash in Middlewich.
Liam Foster, of Smallbrook Walk, Crewe, was arrested on Monday, October 11 following a collision on Warmingham Lane.
The 45-year-old has since been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, whilst being disqualified from driving and uninsured.
The man is also charged with failing to stop after a collision.
Foster appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday, October 12 and was remanded in custody.
The defendant is next set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Wednesday, November 10.

The charge relates to a one vehicle collision involving a red Ford Focus which was reported to police at 11.51am on Friday, October 8.
Sadly, a passenger in the car, a 57-year-old woman from Crewe, died at the scene.
Her next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers
