THESE are the latest Covid-19 case numbers across Mid Cheshire.
The figures show 197 new cases were recorded in Cheshire West and Chester in the 24 hours up to 4pm today, with 327 cases recorded in Cheshire East.
This is compared to 226 new cases in Cheshire West and Chester and 316 cases in Cheshire East in a 24-hour period as of Friday.
The total number of cases in both boroughs now stands 42,593 in Cheshire West and 44,419 in Cheshire East.
The latest update means there have now been 1,478 cases in the last seven days in Cheshire West, giving the borough a seven-day case rate of 429.9 per 100,000 people.
There have been 2,036 cases in Cheshire East over the last week, meaning the borough’s seven-day case rate is now 526.6 per 100,000.
Nationally, there were 40,224 new Covid-19 cases across the UK in the latest 24-hour period.
