NURSERY pupils set their sights high as they took part in a whole host of activities for World Space Week.
The Caterpillar nursery class at Darnhall Primary School in Winsford marked the occasion by watching a video of rocket launch and discussing what it would be like on the moon, using the story ‘Whatever Next’ written by Jill Murphy.
Class teacher Jacqui Perrin said children enjoyed using their imaginations.
She said: "The children have shown amazing understanding of the world and used their fantastic imaginations to act out our very own trip the moon, counting backwards from 10 before we blasted off.
"The children all dressed for the occasion and enjoyed creating their own healthy moon snack."
