THERE are long delays on the M6 southbound this morning (Wednesday) after an early morning collision was quickly followed by a broken down vehicle.
Both incidents took place close to the Lymm Interchange at junction 20, with one lane of the carriageway closed to allow recovery teams to clear the scene.
The first incident took place at around 7.30am this morning and although that lane closure was cleared within 30 minutes, a lane was closed again after another car broke down in the same area.
Traffic is said to building between junction 20 and 19, with delays of up to half an hour expected.
