Police have seized a quantity of cannabis after finding a stash hidden in a dog poo bag.
Officers from Cheshire Police made the discovery in a hedgerow near Holmes Chapel on Wednesday after being tipped off by a member of the public.
PCSO Ade Chadwick, with the Dane Valley policing team, followed up on the tip and also discovered a set of digital scales.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: "Acting on local intelligence, PCSO Chadwick discovered this cannabis stash in Holmes Chapel yesterday.
"It was found inside a black dog waste bag near a hedgerow.
"If you see any suspicious packages or activity in Dane Valley please report via 101 or cheshire.police.uk/ro/report."
Dane Valley Police cover Cranage, Goostrey, Holmes Chapel, Twemlow and Twemlow Green.
