POLICE in Winsford have stressed that antisocial behaviour will be dealt with 'robustly' after an 18-year-old was sentenced at Chester Magistrates Court.
The Winsford Wharton policing team said Alfie Barton, of Woodcott Avenue, was arrested for a public order offence after shouting and swearing in Abbotts Way in June.
Writing on social media, Sergeant Cundy said: "He was given a chance, and advised to leave the area.
"Barton decided against the advice and squared up to police, resulting in his arrest.
"Barton then damaged a police vehicle by kicking the window.
"He entered a guilty plea in court and was given a fine of £319.
"Antisocial behaviour in Winsford will be dealt with robustly, and offenders put before the courts.
