A TALENTED team from a Winsford-based container repair and refurbishment company has triumphed at the prestigious 2021 Masters of Waste Golf Day.
UK Container Maintenance (UKCM) attended the national tournament held at High Golf Course at Moor Park, Rickmansworth.
Thirty teams of waste and recycling professionals from across the industry competed.
Mark Roberts, technical director at UKCM and member of the wining team, commented: "After what has been a turbulent and difficult 18 months, it was great for members of the waste industry to come together for some friendly competition and to catch-up with some familiar faces – made even better by our win!"
Established in 1998, UKCM deals with the refurbishment of all types of waste and recycling containers.
The team works across the country offering waste companies and local authorities mobile repairs, as well as factory-based services at its head office in Road One.
The process brings old, and often unwanted, waste containers back to life instead of them going to scrap.
