CHILDREN have captured what life was like during the pandemic and preserved it for future generations.

Pupils at Cledford Primary School in Middlewich buried a time capsule.

All year groups took part and contributed poems, diary entries, artwork as well as advice and safety posters and a pandemic glossary to explain new words that were created during this time.

"The project enabled to children to reflect on many of the difficulties faced in this last year but also celebrate some of the silver linings and share their hopes for the future.

"It gave the children the opportunity to understand their place in history and that this pandemic will be remembered for many years and will influence the way people live their lives now and into the future."
