A WALK-in Covid-19 vaccination clinic for those over 18 is open in Winsford until 7pm today (July 19).

Walk-in, mobile and pop-up vaccination clinics will be operating in Cheshire West – including Winsford, Ellesmere Port, Chester and Lache – this week, offering the coronavirus vaccination to all adults.

All of the clinics are able to offer the Pfizer vaccine for any adult over the age of 18.

The Pfizer vaccine is available to all as a first dose and as a second dose to those who have already one dose of Pfizer, providing there is an eight-week gap between doses.

No appointment is necessary to attend any of the free mobile clinics.

Today, Monday, July 19, there will be a mobile walk-in clinic at Winsford Industrial Estate, Adjacent Unit 8, Road One, CW7 3RQ, until 7pm.

For those unable to attend, appointments can be booked at alternative venues through the National Booking Service either online at: nhs.uk/covid-vaccination or by phoning: 119.

Cllr Louise Gittins, leader of Cheshire West and Chester Council, said: "Please go and get vaccinated as soon as you are able. It is quick and easy. No appointment is necessary, just walk in.

"While restrictions are being lifted, Covid-19 cases are high in the borough, particularly amongst younger people.

"The vaccines offer a very high degree of protection for all.

"Vaccination will not only protect you but will protect your loved ones too."
