A FIRE broke out in a flat last night.
Firefighters were called to a fire in a flat at Cleveland Road shortly before 9.45pm.
Wearing breathing apparatus, crews used a hose reel jet to put the fire out.

Firefighters then switched a large fan on to clear smoke from the flat.
Crews from Warrington and Penketh were at the scene for an hour-and-a-half.
