VODKA, wine and beer were seized from teens as police patrolled behaviour hotspots last night.

Police community support officers joined forces with a youth worker from Warrington Borough Council to visit anti-social areas around the town.

A spokesman for Warrington police said: "Alcohol was seized from those unable to provide I.D.

"The aim of Op Staysafe is to allow the police and the council to work with those youths who are potentially vulnerable to provide any support that they might need."
