NORTHWICH Victoria, Winsford United and Barnton can now plot their course through the opening weeks of the 2021-22 season.

The North West Counties Football League has confirmed each teams’ fixtures up until the end of August, with the campaign kicking off on Saturday, July 31.

This is to allow for fixtures higher up the footballing pyramid to be taken into consideration to avoid ground-sharing clashes.

All three of the clubs in the region will start with away games, with Steve Wilkes taking his Vics side to Prestwich Heys for their opening fixture in the Premier Division.

In the same league, Winsford visit Charnock Richard on the opening weekend while Barnton kick off their First Division South campaign with a trip to Wythenshawe Amateurs.

Lee Duckworth’s Blues host Macclesfield FC – who have been added to the NWCFL Premier Division for this season – in their first home game of the season on Tuesday, August 3.

The following night, Vics and Barnton play their first home matches – Avro visit Wincham Park while the Villagers welcome FC Isle of Man to Townfield.
