TWO lanes on the M6 have re-opened after being closed for more than two hours, causing massive tail backs.
The lane closures came after a collision on the southbound side of the motorway by the Croft Interchange - junction 21A - at around 11.30am.
Reports from the scene say there are still delays, with journey times delayed by more than an hour at its peak.
Police were quickly on the scene and at around 2pm revealed the vechiles had been cleared and the lanes were re-open.
Delays are still expected and drivers have been told to remain patient.
UPDATE- The #M6 southbound at #J21A (#CroftInterchange #M62) 2 lanes have been re-opened the RTC has now been cleared and ambulance are just leaving the scene.
